Mark Bowater: Independent Financial Adviser & Equity Release Specialist in West Midlands

I am 43 years of age, and married to my wife Joanne. We have two lovely children, Josh and Hanah, plus one very playful dog called Tess.

I was born and brought up in Great Wyrley, a village 5 miles from Walsall, and 8 miles from Lichfield.

Having two lively children keeps both myself and Joanne busy, what with football coaching, gymnastics, and swimming etc. At weekends we love nothing better than taking the dog for a walk for a few hours.

Luckily for us boy/girlfriends are not yet on the scene!



I have been in Financial Services since 1991, starting with The Prudential and I have been giving truly independent Financial Advice since 2002, during which time I have also been a Manager of a regional Building Society. I have been specialising in Equity Release for the last 5 years, and have enjoyed bringing a smile to my more elderly client's faces.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, holidaying, most sports, notably golf, and playing football, (even at my age). I still turn out for the local veterans side (over 40's), and recently reached the National Veterans Cup Final.
